Shambala is an upbeat jam band from Los Angeles, driven by positive messages and inspiring melodies. Fronted by the dynamic power-couple duo of singer-songwriters Dan Stein and Liv Zutphen, and produced by the renowned Matt Starr, Shambala crafts music that resonates with listeners through relatable themes and infectious energy.
Currently featured on Spotify's Modern Jam Band editorial playlist alongside Phish, Umphrey's McGee, and String Cheese Incident, Shambala's stellar lineup includes Ty Dennis (21st Century Doors) on drums and Ed Roth (Robby Krieger Band) on keys. The band is recording their debut album at Love Street Sound, Robby Krieger's LA studio, featuring two tracks with special guest Joel Cummins (Umphrey's McGee).
Shambala has shared stages with notable acts like Spafford, Mihali, Dogs in a Pile, and Cool Cool Cool, and has performed at prominent venues including The Venice West, Knitting Factory, The Mint LA, Lodge Room and Saint Rocke.
On the heels of several new singles, a few out of town runs, and a solid close to 2025, Shambala looks ahead at the release of their debut album in 2026, more out of town shows, and laying the groundwork for their second album.

This band is built on a foundation of spreading good vides, positivity, and high vibrations throughout the airwaves and digital landscapes. In this day and age, it is much needed.
